National Certified Medical Office
Assistant
Medical
Office Assistants principally work in the offices of private physician’s
as medical front office staff. MOA's perform general office administrative
duties that make the medical office function smoothly and efficiently.
The NCMOA certification is available for MOA training program graduates
that have completed at least one year experience working as a medical
office assistant.
The NCMOA certification exam covers: computer skills, business communication,
medical law, medical terminology, medical ethics, medical insurance,
front office procedures and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
The National Certified Medical Office Assistant is a nationally recognized
certification for medical office assistant professionals granted through
testing by the National Center for Competency Testing
PCI has been selected a National Certified Proctor Site for NCCT. Medical
Office Assistant graduates that have completed their on year of work
experience requirement may sit for the certification exam at the PCI
campus. Certification testing dates are generally held every month of
