Medical Office Assistants principally work in the offices of private physician’s as medical front office staff. MOA's perform general office administrative duties that make the medical office function smoothly and efficiently.

The  certification exam covers: computer skills, business communication, medical law, medical terminology, medical ethics, medical insurance, front office procedures and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.

The National Certified Medical Office Assistant is a nationally recognized certification for medical office assistant professionals granted through testing by the National Center for Competency Testing
